Provides timely articles on nutrition, exercise, new drugs, medical advances, self-help, etc. They claim, "The rule of thumb for any article we publish is that it must be clear, concise, useful, and instructive, and it must have immediate application to the daily needs of our readers." They also promise no hype, personal experiences, or personality profiles, just practical advice and information.

Just as they promise, don't expect to find an article on Mary Tyler-Moore (a diabetic) or Delta Burke (also a diabetic). You also won't find ads and supporting articles about the new wonder drug or herb that is sure to be the best thing to happen to diabetes since home glucose monitor. Instead you will find practical information to help you gain control and monitor your diabetes.

You will find articles with exciting and daring titles such as 'How Accurate is your Meter?" and "Women & Diabetes: Mysteries of the Menstrual Cycle." The articles won't be in scientist or physician jargon either. They have been written to be easily read and comprehended by normal folk like me.

In addition to being a great resource for all diabetics, I feel this is an invaluable resource for women trying to get pregnant or who are already pregnant. It provides tons of tips and how-to articles on gaining good tight control, which is so important during pregnancy.
