I am not a pumper and I admit I don't know very much about pumping. I think the idea of charts, boluses, and working with a little electronic machine makes me confused from the get go. From what I understand I am not alone. I've also been witness to many diabetics who have almost literally been dragged kicking and screaming to the idea of using a pump. Those same diabetics today would put up a fight if you were to try to take their pumps away!

When I first started my site a couple years ago, I tried to provide resources for all diabetics, including insulin pumpers. Based on Amazon.com reviews, this was the book I chose to list on my site. It is now a couple years later, and this time I posed the question to my newsletter members, forum members, and other site visitors. Which pump book is the best? The answer? This one.

Some of the terms used to describe this book have been "must have," "valuable reference," and "very easy to understand."

I am very sorry I haven't provided you with a first-hand review. I am in the process of slowly finding and reviewing the books that have come with high recommendations. When I get a chance to read this one, I will update as soon as I can.
